Atlanta homeowners know their yards: narrow lots in historic neighborhoods, wooded slopes that shed branches year-round, and fences that take a beating from weather and time. Atlanta Fence Company has been installing and repairing fences across Atlanta and the surrounding area since 2011, and we understand what works on your property and what doesn't.
Whether you need a new privacy fence to define your lot line, a gate that swings freely, or a repair to a fence that's leaning or damaged, we show up, give you straight talk, and do the work right. Our crews are fully insured, and we're members of the American Fence Association. Call us at (470) 823-2437 for a free on-site estimate.
Fence Installation and Repair in Atlanta (30314)
Atlanta's housing stock runs the gamut: bungalows on tight east-side lots, homes on sloped wooded yards, and properties where drainage and access shape what kind of fence makes sense. Posts set in concrete hold better than tamped soil over years, especially when ground moisture works at the base. We've replaced enough leaning fence sections to know when a post can be reset and when the whole run needs to come out and go back in right.
We install wood and vinyl privacy fences, chain link, aluminum and ornamental iron, gates, and automatic driveway gates. We repair storm damage, replace rotted posts, fix sagging gates, and handle pool barrier fencing to meet local code. We've served Atlanta and the surrounding area since 2011, and we know the neighborhoods, the setback and height rules that vary across the city, and how to work with HOA restrictions when they apply.

How a Fence Project Works
We start with a free on-site assessment. You show us what you want, we measure the run, check for utility lines (we always call 811 before we dig), and talk through material, height, and what the local code allows. We'll ask about your survey or fence line, and we work from what you identify. If you're not sure, that's the time to clarify it with your property records or a surveyor before we set posts.
Once you approve the estimate, our crews handle the work. On narrow lots and steep slopes, we adapt: racked fence (stepped installation) works better than level when the ground slopes, and board-on-board or side-by-side boards give you privacy options. We set posts in concrete for strength, space them right, and brace gates with anti-sag hardware so they don't drag. If you have an HOA, we coordinate so you're covered.
When the job is done, we clean up the site, haul debris, and walk through with you. You get a fence that's square, plumb, and built to last.
Pricing depends on material and scope. Wood privacy fence starts at $25 per linear foot; vinyl runs $36 per foot; chain link is $15 per foot; aluminum and ornamental iron start at $40 per foot. Repairs begin at $440, post replacement at $440, and gate work at $465. Automatic driveway gates start at $2,800. Pool fencing runs $32 per foot, and full fence replacement with removal starts at $2,300. The final cost depends on the fence length, terrain (slopes cost more because of racking and labor), material choice, gate hardware, and site access. Storm damage assessments are free.
